Visiting URI GSO in Narragansett, RI
Just got back from a recent visit this past Thursday to URI’s Graduate School of Oceanography. It’s a really great program and I’m quite excited to be completing my application for next fall 2013. Shout outs to the NOAA Ocean Explorer program and UNH grads @ URI! More to come on this subject…

EN519 Day 1: Away at Sea – R/V Endeavor – Cyst cruise investigating ‘Red Tide’
I am currently aboard the University of Rhode Island’s R/V Endeavor participating in a fall Cyst cruise (part of the GoMTOX project) investigating harmful algal blooms – ‘Red Tide’ in the Gulf of Maine, Georges Bank, and the Bay of Fundy in the North Atlantic Ocean.
